Revelation is conducting a study to demonstrate the possibilities of
online qualitative research. “A Moment in Time” will dramatically
show how the technology behind Web 2.0 has erased one of the
fundamental limitations of qualitative market research. Traditionally,
researchers have had limited, unsustainable access to respondent
experiences: a few hours in a focus group where each participant
contributes a few minutes or an ethnography where researchers spend a

Welcome James Pozdena!
It gives us great pleasure to announce that we have a new member of the Revelation Team. James Pozdena has joined us as a developer who will be focusing on customer support. James comes fresh off a position at Market Strategies International (formerly Doxus) here in Portland. We are super psyched

Shugoll Research uses Revelation to study teen obesity
Shugoll Research and Midan Marketing teamed up to conduct a multi-phase study with tweens (8 to 12 year-olds) and teens (13 to 17 year-olds) using Revelation for a qualitative online immersion research method and a quantitative online survey method to develop an understanding of the role obesity plays in the lives of children ages 8 to 17 years and possible solutions that could lead to them developing healthy eating habits. Each year the Oregon Entrepreneur's Network hosts one of the largest Angel investment conferences in the country. From a field of almost 100 companies, the Angel Oregon due diligence teams pare it down to two companies in three categories: Tech/Biotech, Sustainability, and Consumer Goods.

Revvers hit Vancouver!
The Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) Annual conference took place last week in beautiful Vancouver, BC and Revvers were out in force. Revvers Kristin Schwitzer of Beacon Research and Christine Corner and Rachel Lewington of Genactis UK presented on studies they'd done this year. And of course G2 Marketing's Gretchen Gehrett and myself presented on Immersive Research and our study of qualitative researchers and technology.
