Revvers hit Vancouver!

Submitted by Steve on Tue, 2007-10-30 23:45.

The Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) Annual conference took place last week in beautiful Vancouver, BC and Revvers were out in force. Revvers Kristin Schwitzer of Beacon Research and Christine Corner and Rachel Lewington of Genactis UK presented on studies they'd done this year. And of course G2 Marketing's Gretchen Gehrett and myself presented on Immersive Research and our study of qualitative researchers and technology. After the presentation, a bunch of Revvers gathered for a group photo:

Michael comes to us out of the University of Auburn Industrial Design program where his thesis was on the visualization of taxonomies - something we find quite interesting. Michael will be leading our ongoing efforts on evolving and improving interface issues and interactions - making things intuitive,  helping you get things done quicker and creating an inspiring experience.  Welcome Michael!

Revelation at ESOMAR Qualitative 2007

Submitted by Steve on Fri, 2007-08-31 19:48.

It's always great to see Revvers acknowledged for the great work they do. So congratulations to Revelation customer Nicole Reinhold of Philips Design, Netherlands who has had her paper "The virtual home visit: Identifying people insights in the virtual world" accepted to the ESOMAR Qualitative 2007 Conference in Paris November 12-14.

ESOMAR is the world wide organization for Market Research and it's conferences attract the best of what research has to offer. So it is a high honor indeed.

Nicole co-authored the paper with Karma Lendup Senior Designer at Philips Design, India and it is based on a Revelation project conducted early this year in both the US and Indian markets.

Goodbye San Francisco, Hello Portland

Submitted by Steve on Mon, 2007-06-25 18:30.

Well, this week is the big week here at Revelation. On Wednesday we move from San Francisco to Portland, Oregon. As with any move, we are both sad to be leaving a place we have known for many years and also excited to be embarking on a new adventure.

While San Francisco is truly one of the world's great cities, we feel that Portland's great tech community, small town livability and urban sophstication will be the best possible new home for Revelation.

We'll be officially up and open for business in Portland on July 2nd.  As always, we'll keep you posted as events warrant!
