The Live AID of Research Events, by Steve August

Over the past 10 years, I have attended and presented at countless research events on at least three continents. Some have been really good in terms of content, and some not as much, but generally all follow the same format. Attendees fly to a city (hopefully one with warm weather) and over the course of two or three days, take in presentations on every aspect of research. Networking and knowledge sharing ensues. It is a pretty familiar drill and not a bad one, at that.

However, there's always room for trying something new and taking advantage of the online world we live in. To read Steve's full blog post click here.

Inside Revelation: Revelation Support Team Shares Their Secrets to Success, by Drew Woods

Most support teams work as hard as they can to reduce the amount of time they spend actually answering incoming requests from the users. Primarily, this effort is channeled into documentation, canned responses, recorded screen casts, webinars, and the like. At Revelation, we spend a good amount of time on these materials as well, but they're not our only tools.

The Revelation Daily | paper.li by Kristie Conner

We recently created our own paper.li - The Revelation Daily. For those of you who are not familiar with paper.li -- paper.li organizes links shared on Twitter into an easy to read newspaper-style format. Newspapers can be created for any Twitter user, list or #tag.

My first encounter with paper.li was the #MRX Daily and then while at Blog World Expo, I visited the paper.li booth. While at the Expo, I got a lesson on how easy it is to create a personalized paper.li. The simplicity won me over, but why I keep reading The Revelation Daily and #MRX Daily is to keep caught up - it is an easy way to stay informed and abreast of industry news.

You would think, that The Revelation Daily would be about Revelation, but it is not, it is about the people we follow! And, for those of you who are frequent Twitter users, you'll like the fact the paper.li takes the best, most tweeted topics of the day and aggregates them (with pictures) in an easy to read format!
